To organize and conduct international congresss, symposia, workshops and seminars including the biannual Evolving Energy- International Energy Foundation-International Energy Congress.
To sponsor and conduct research studies, surveys, and state of the art studies.
To undertake consultancy projects and organize training programmes for the interchange of knowledge and expertise amongst the international community.
To publish a Research Journal and a newsletter.
To institute awards and scholarships to recognize work of excellence in the fields of energy.
To establish memoranda of agreement with other national and international bodies and organizations involved with energy research and education.
